Blog 3: Religion

Hi everyone!

Today I will tell you about my experience in a Catholic school.
As I said, for most of my school education I attended a school that believes in the Catholic religion.
Even though my school was not extremely Catholic, the masses were practiced on festive and important dates such as Easter, among others.
in addition to having to attend a couple of masses in the school chapel on the eve of Holy Week. Time was also set aside for reflection and grapes and bread were shared with the companions.
Another typical characteristic of a Catholic school were the typical prayers that were said before classes began.

With my experience and my opinion, I conclude that there should be no schools that are guided by religious beliefs. I understand that for many families it is important to follow the traditions, but I think it is more important to show the children the options. and that when they are mature enough, they should be able to choose whether to put their faith in a religion or not.

Thank you for reading!

  1. It is very good that your school has not been so strict with being Catholic, because I know people in whom they were exaggerated with that :(
